RP2040 precision — 24-bit analog inputs in the smallest form factor.
NEXTuino BASE is built on the RP2040 dual-core ARM Cortex-M0+ processor. Six 24-bit sigma-delta analog inputs deliver laboratory-grade measurement accuracy. Ethernet W5500, CAN bus or RS-485, and USB-C programming make this the most capable entry-level industrial controller in the range.

Load cells, strain gauges and pressure transducers benefit from the 24-bit resolution without external signal conditioning.
Conveyor control, sequential logic, and interlock systems on compact production machines.
Multi-channel temperature, pressure and flow monitoring with 4–20 mA or 0–10 V transmitters.
Irrigation control, greenhouse climate management and nutrient dosing with analogue sensor integration.
Replace traditional relay logic with a single compact controller and programmable logic.
HVAC damper control, pump sequencing, lighting schedules in commercial and light-industrial buildings.
Standard PLCs use 10-bit or 12-bit ADCs (1 024–4 096 steps). The BASE's 24-bit sigma-delta ADC provides over 16 million steps — enabling accurate measurement of small signals from load cells, strain gauges and precision transmitters without external signal conditioning.
Yes. The RP2040 is fully supported by the Arduino framework. Install the NEXTuino board package and any RP2040-compatible Arduino library works as expected, including the dual-core and PIO state machine features.
The BASE hardware supports one field bus option — either CAN bus or RS-485 — configured at the hardware level. Specify which option you need when ordering. Both provide robust industrial communication for connecting field devices.
BASE has superior analog resolution (24-bit) and a faster 32-bit dual-core processor. RISE has more digital relay outputs (6 relays). Choose BASE for precision analogue applications, RISE when you need more relay switching channels.
